Biography
With wide professional experience in the reinsurance industry, working for several reinsurance companies. On particular note are Swiss Re as Senior Underwriter and Nacional de Reaseguros as Senior Client Manager, being in charge of a reinsurance portfolio over 360MM EUR and 80 clients in the Spanish market.
She successfully established JLT Re’s Spanish and Portuguese branch and built up a profitable operation of more than 55MM EUR intermediated premium in all lines of business and reinsurance forms: Treaties, Binders for MGAs, Facilities & Fac and Actuarial Consulting & Analytics.
She was Co-Founder and Managing Partner of OMRe, and built up a profitable and well-positioned operation in record time.
She has a particular expertise in reinsurance and negotiation with the Spanish and Portuguese market.
Cristina holds a master in Actuarial Science from ICADE University plus an MBA from CUNEF University and is fluent in English and Spanish.
